Busy Summer

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

Wow!!  Where has the time gone?

Summer is almost over.  The girls are getting ready to go back to preschool. And the fall holidays begin.  The time is seems to just go by so fast.

We have had a great summer!!  We just got back from our week and a half family vacation.  The trip started out leaving home and driving to Nashville TN for 2 day while Brent attend a Beach Body meeting.  I will talk more about Beach Body in another post.  Then we left Nashville and drove to Gulf Shores, AL.

We stayed in Gulf Shores for 5 days.  Our family loves the beach!!  No one wanted to come home.  Ok, Brooklyn asked to go home and get a few toys but then wanted to go right back to the beach.  Our family is a beach family!!  I do think we could live there without any regrets.

I will be posting pictures of our vacation really soon!! We met a wonderful lady there named Gwen that is from Arkansas as well.  She took a lot of pictures of our family.  I will share them with you soon.

Also, I am pleased to announce that my exercising has paid off.  I am down to 19% body fat.  I have worked really hard and you can not tell I have had 3 kids all under the age of 4.  I will be sharing how I did this real soon so be watching for that post.  Brent is also doing well with his weight loss and such so I will share a little about what he is doing as well.

Well, I have to get back to my mom duties!!  So I will be posting soon!

Have a Blessed Day!!

An Exiciting Week

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Wow!!  It has been really busy in the Worley house.

For Valentine’s Day, Brent and I went to Tunica with my mom and dad.  We had a great weekend!!  It is nice to get away for a few days and have some grown up time.  The other thing is being able to go out to dinner and not take 2 girls potty 3 or 4 times while trying to have dinner.

After we got back from a weekend getaway.   I went to the doctor because I have had a horrible cough and could not shake it.  I had been taking some over the counter stuff and it was not helping.  So I went to the doctor and I have exercised induced asthma and an allergy to something.  The doctor is thinking the alergy is to my dog.

So I am on an alergy medicine and an inhaler for two weeks then they will evalute what to do from there.  So it may mean getting rid of the dog.  Which I have mixed feelings about.

We have also done Savannah dedication at church.  This was a very special day for our family.  Not only did we have the dedication but our pastor did our house blessing.  He spoke some thing to us that Brent and I needed to hear for a while.  It was the confirmation we needed in our family for a while.  I love when you have been praying for things and the confirmation just happens!!  God is so great!!

Also last week was my last week to keep the little girl I had been keeping for a while.  It was something that our family has needed for a while.  Now I am going to be a true stay at home mom again.  I know my girls are so happy!!  I will also be Brent build our home business.

This week Brent and I are flying to Houston Thursday afternoon for a Zurvita Convention.  I am so excited because I have never been to one with him.  I am ready to learn more about the business so I can help him build our business.

I will posted about the convention when we get back.

Hope everyone has a blessed week!!

Snow Days

Tuesday, February 9th, 2010

As you know I am from Arkansas.  Most of the winters we have do not consist of lots of snow.  But this year it has.  This week is the second big snow we have gotten in several several years.

The snow is very pretty!

However, it is not something  I am considering to keep around much longer.  My girls are on there second snow day this week and it has already been canceled for tomorrow.  Granted they only go to preschool on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  So, as of right now they may only go one day this week.  They are really starting to cabin fever.

The girls enjoyed the snow the last time  we got our first big snow.  They made snow angels, snow ball fights and built a cute little snow girl with Brent.  We could not keep them inside.  After we got them inside we made hot chocolate and smores!  Yummy!!

But now, they really are not interested in it.  Brent and the girls went outside yesterday and played for about 30 minutes or so.  I also wrapped up Savannah and we stood in the garage and watched it snow and the girls running and playing!!

Today, I figured they would want to go out and play but as of 4:00 pm neither one of them have asked to go outside and play.  Brooklyn has said more than once lately that she is ready to go to the beach!  A girl after my own heart!!

After Tori wakes up from her nap I did tell them we would make snow ice cream so we will have to go out and collect some snow!

I enjoy being a stay at home mom but I also enjoy the girls have preschool for half days!  It gives us all a small break!!  Please no more SNOW!!   If we keep having snow days, I am going to need some ideas for these girls not to get cabin fever!

Helping Brent build our business

Thursday, January 28th, 2010

Most of you don’t know but I have been a stay at home mom since Brooklyn was born in October 2005.  Me being a stay at home mom is something Brent and I decided not long after we got married.  We had decided that when we had kids we didn’t want other people raising them.  Times have not always been easy but it always works out.  Brent is a great husband and is always trying to find something to make our family better.

Since Brooklyn was born, I have not worked outside the home.  I have however worked.  We decided that I would keep children in our home.  Keeping children in our home seemed to be the best for us, it allows me to stay home with our girls and bring in some income.

But Brent and I want more for our family.  I am not just talking about $$.  I am talking about the freedom our family can have.  Time freedom is a big deal for us.  We would love to be able to travel more with our girls.  Our girls love the beach (they get it honest) because I would love to live there!  Brent knows this and we even have picked out our beach home and it is on our dream wall in his office.

Brent was always looking for ways that we could do all this.   He has found a home business that he has been working for 2 years I believe.  We decided that 2010 would be the best year of our families lives.  So, to do this I have decided to help him in anyway I can to build our business.  Right now I am only writing articles for him and he does the rest.  I hope to learn more about the business so I can help him more.  Eventaully, I will be able to help him more and stop having childcare in our home.

I know if we work together we can achieve anything we want.  We want to be home together all the time and be able to travel as much as we want.  There are many other things we want to be able to do for people and ministries.

I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband!  I know that God has huge plans for my family!

If you would like to be a stay at home mom or family please let me know I would love to share the information with you.  There is more to life then a 40 hour a week job, a boss your have to answer to (other than God) and someone else raising your kids.

Starting off 2010

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Wow!!  Where does the time go?  The first month of 2010 is over half way over.

We started out the new year have all 3 girls sick.  They all 3 have never been sick at the same time.  Being a stay at home mom you don’t realize how hard it is when you have all 3 kids sick.  We didn’t leave the house for 2 weeks.  Talking about going nuts and having bad cabin fever.  Well, that is what the girls and I had.  Brent was working many hours during those 2 weeks so it was really rough.

After everyone was well, Brent and I got a night with no kids.  We got to go out on a dinner date and got some much need sleep.  Then the day they came home I got the house cleaned and laundry caught up.  You would think that it would be easy for a stay at home mom to do but it is hard when you have 3 girls at home.  It was much easier while they were gone.    I love my girls but the break was needed for me and I am sure for them.

One thing that I have started since the first of the month is exercising and eating better.  I am not doing this to lose weight but to tone and feel better about myself.  This is something that I am having to work really hard on because of a few reasons:  I enjoy eating things that are not great for me and I have never really enjoyed exercising.  I am exercising in the mornings and I have to admit I am feeling better when I do.  Don’t tell Brent because he would say told you so.  I have been exercising for 3 weeks and can already see a difference in my body.  I think Brent enjoys seeing the results on me as well! ;)  I will let you know how the exercising and eating healthier go.  Maybe we can share some recipes.

Brent and I have some exciting things we are wanting to do for/with our family this year.  I will keep you posted on these events I’m sure.  We are praying for great things for our family this year.  I will also be in prayer for you and your family.

Many Blessings to Everyone this year!

An update on my Family

Monday, September 14th, 2009

Just wanted to give an update about my family.

Since the last time I posted anything we have a new addition to the family.  We had daughter #3.  Savannah Grace was born June 9, 2009.

Brooklyn just started her second year of preschool.  She loves going!!  There are two other kids in her class that were with her last year.  She is going three days a week from nine until noon.

Tori started preschool this year.  Today is only her second day because she only goes two days a week from nine until noon.  She is experiencing stranger anxiety right now so it is hard on her wanting to go in.  She talks about going to school all the time but it take her a while to warm up.

Savannah is now three months.  Where does the time go?  I call her my chunky monkey!  She is not fat but she has more rolls on her arms and legs than either one of the other girls ever had.  She is a happy smiley baby all the time unless she is hungry, sleepy or needs a diaper change.

I am enjoying being a Mommy of 3 girls.  Brent is way out numbered but he is ok with that.
